  1. Implementing a Player-Owned Economy

Scarcity

A core principle of VOYA’s player owned economy is scarcity. Game resources are limited by design, and every item must be earned through gameplay or player investment. Unlike traditional games, we do not create resources from nothing or sell them directly to players, avoiding inflation and maintaining resource value.

NFT Gated Resource Production Raw resources enter the economy only through player owned Dyno NFTs, which produce fixed amounts regularly. Players must trade actively to obtain resources they cannot produce themselves.

Free Basic Dyno for Onboarding Every new player begins with a free Earth Dyno, which easily produces the basic Earth resource, simplifying the onboarding experience.

Player Driven Supply Players acquire resources exclusively through their own effort or trading. Our revenue comes solely from transaction fees and additional services, never from direct resource sales (see Monetization section).

Meaningful Progression Maintaining scarcity ensures meaningful progression without tedious gameplay. As players advance, they unlock rarer resources and higher tier items, creating prestige and rewarding effort. Owning advanced items signals genuine achievement, motivating continued player engagement.

Law of Value

This economy follows a clear principle called the Law of Value:

Input + Effort = Output

Effort represents player time, skill, and strategy. Crafted items hold greater intrinsic value due to invested effort. However, actual market prices are ultimately determined by player supply and demand.
